Technically, RDAs provide the best possible flavour and vapour production, as the vapor doesn't have to travel through a chimney-like in tank systems. This direct-drip method delivers the freshest possible flavour.

RDAs require more frequent e-liquid application, making them less convenient for on-the-go use. However, for vapers who prioritise flavour and vapour production, and enjoy the process of coil building, RDAs can offer a deeply satisfying experience.

Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomisers (RDTAs) represent a hybrid between RTAs and RDAs, aiming to combine the best of both worlds. They have a deck for coil-building like both devices, but also include a tank reservoir like an RTA and an open-top well design like an RDA.

The concept behind RDTAs is to provide the superior flavour and vapour production of an RDA with the convenience of a tank system. Vapers can manually drip e-liquid onto the coil when at home or use the tank system when on the go.
