3) Product Development Manager

About us

JM Wholesale has risen to become the UK’s largest distributor within the Vaping and CBD sector. Continuing our expansion, we have recently launched our White Label service, and we are looking to recruit a Product Development Manager to join our team.

The position

For the role of Product Development Manager, you will be required to research and develop new products (CBD and Vape) from start to finish by working with external manufacturers, suppliers and in-house designers. This will include communicating effectively with the Whitelabel Manager to develop products of a high standard within a precise time frame.

You will have full responsibility with regards to creating new ideas and recipes to fulfil expectations from clients. This will entail using your own initiative to conduct the relevant extensive research.

Skills Required

The successful candidate will have previous experience within the manufacturing or product development industry. Ideally, this will include production experience with the Vaping, CBD, food or Cosmetic sectors. A creative background is essential to producing new and innovative ideas for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing new products and recipes
  • Work with external manufacturers to get the desired products made
  • Work with external suppliers and packaging companies
  • Work with the internal design team to design products and packaging
  • Assessing project and resource requirements
  • Estimating, negotiating and agreeing on budgets and timescales with managers
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
  • Overseeing the production processes

  • Working alongside our inhouse production team
  • Getting the Whitelabel orders processed
  • Managing customer accounts
